Duties of Officers and employees of the Organization


The following medical research and health matters are primarily handled by officers and employees of this section :-

- Preparation of Agenda for EGM & AFMRC

- Demand & allotment of budget

- Preparation of minutes of AFMRC

- Issue of letters of approved projects

- Follow up of Project progress

- Submission of utilization cert

- Submission of DFR, FR, recommendation and article of completed projects

- Dissemination of recommendations

- Conduct of Seminars, CMEs, Updates, Wksps

- Approval for offrs to attend National & International Conf

- Inclusion of Association /Societies in approved list

- Contribution to ICMM

- Liaison & completion of research proposals of ICMR, LSRB, INMAS, DIPAS, HAMRC, IMM, DRDO, DEBEL

- Revision/publication of DGAFMS medical memoranda and publications

- Sanction of publication of articles/ books/ chapters in National /International journals/ MJAFI

-Approve programme& conduct of the Armed Forces Medical Conference

-Technical control of High Altitude Medical Research Centre
